On September 28th, 2025, the Beijing 798 Art Festival officially kicked off at the 798 · 751 Park Creative Square. The theme of this year's art festival is "Multi Perception and Symbiosis". It collaborates with nearly a hundred art institutions inside and outside the park, presenting five major units: opening ceremony, themed exhibitions and series of activities, parallel series exhibitions, park activities, and external linkage. On the day of the opening ceremony, exciting activities were held successively at the Creative Square in the 798 · 751 Industrial Park. On this land that carries industrial memory and contemporary artistic vitality, music, dance, and light and shadow interweave to create a multi sensory art feast that transcends borders and integrates ancient and modern times. A wine and fragrance booth was specially set up at the event, showcasing fine wines from France, Spain, and other regions alongside local Chinese wines, accompanied by a subtle aroma, creating a unique olfactory and gustatory experience. The super energetic band under Beijing DaAi Tong ignited the entire audience with passionate melodies and surging rhythms, leaving a vivid mark on the opening of this year's art festival and embarking on a passionate and warm autumn journey.
Faced with the overall trend of artistic digitization production and experiential exhibition, this theme exhibition emphasizes cross media narrative and multi sensory intervention. The theme exhibition "Giant Planet: Multi sensory Art and Technology Exhibition" is jointly presented by internationally renowned digital artist Bu Hua and art and technology curator Wang Boqiao. The exhibition uses three works, "Universe Garden," "Giant Planet," and "Don't Panic Before Reunion," to construct an artistic journey from real-life difficulties to spiritual freedom through corresponding narratives. The person in charge of the 798 International Art Exchange Center said, "We will adhere to the equal emphasis on publicness, internationality, and innovation, activate exhibition narratives with cutting-edge technologies such as AIGC and perceptual interaction, and promote the sustained growth of high-quality cultural supply in urban spaces
During the art festival, the organizers collaborated with dozens of galleries and art institutions to launch exhibitions covering diverse forms such as painting, installations, and images, creating an open cultural exchange platform from local narratives to cross-border dialogues.
This parallel exhibition gathers stars and masterpieces, and visitors will encounter cutting-edge artistic creations from domestic and foreign artists along the exhibition line of the park. Exhibitions such as "Pippi Di Rist: The Palm Universe" and "The Future You: The Evolution of Walking" reshape the audience's viewing path and physical experience through innovative exhibition forms such as site-specific imagery and generative interaction.
Exhibitions such as "Dust Collection - Sun County Palace Museum Photography Collection Exhibition" and "Wang Yiya: Golden Jade Laws" not only continue the poetic context of Eastern culture, but also continuously expand traditional contemporary expressions through diverse media practices. Visitors gain a more three-dimensional understanding and aesthetic experience through the dialogue between "tradition contemporary" and "technology aesthetics".
In addition, this year's art festival also collaborates with several well-known art museums outside the park to build a broader platform for art exchange. The Central Academy of Fine Arts Art Museum, Today Art Museum, Intermediate Art Museum, X Art Museum and other venues have launched multiple heavyweight exhibitions such as "Energy and Civilization - Science and Art · Fusion Future" at the same time, covering a rich range of contemporary art, science, design and illustration. At the same time, Chaoyang Park Weibo IN& The DEFACTTO Jazz Art Life Festival takes place during the National Day holiday, with the theme of "Discovering Beauty", allowing every audience member to find their own rhythm in music and art; The 13th Chaoyang International Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (ITEC2025) AI Art Exhibition showcases cross-border cooperation between technology and art experiments; The "Multi sensory Coexistence" special performance of "Our Chinese Dream - Culture Enters Every Home" invites the public to share the beauty of art and experience the deep integration of culture and daily life in public spaces.
To enhance the exhibition experience, the art festival has also launched park public welfare guidance and theme curator guidance, and simultaneously launched the H5 art festival online guidance system.
