Particle art is a new artistic concept that combines science and art, encompassing knowledge from multiple disciplines such as art, sculpture, installation, design, and science. It is a method of discovering and creating beauty. In the process of creating particle art, people use various scientific and artistic methods (such as imaging technology) to locally capture the supernatural phenomena of particles, achieving the reproduction from four-dimensional to pseudo four-dimensional, and from three-dimensional to pseudo three-dimensional, creating a contradictory entity of abstract and concrete coexistence.

The concept of "Particle Art" was first proposed by Wang Nan, Executive Director of the Particle Art Laboratory at Peking University School of Art and a teacher at Peking University Affiliated Middle School, and elaborated in detail in his monograph "Particle Art". The Particle Art course is currently offered in many key universities across the country, such as Peking University and Renmin University, as well as in primary and secondary schools such as Peking University Affiliated Middle School. It allows learners to think like scientists, create like artists, learn by doing and learn by doing, and experience the charm of the integration of science and art. It is deeply loved by many teachers and students.

Particle Art Network is jointly initiated by Wang Nan, the proposer of the concept of particle art, and nationally renowned artists, scientists, and critics. It is committed to promoting the concept of particle art, cultivating and discovering particle artists, and accelerating the integration of science and art.
