In order to warmly celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Thailand, actively respond to the "the Belt and Road" initiative, promote art and people to people exchanges between China and Thailand to a new height, and help the vigorous development of cultural cooperation in the Lancang Mekong region, under the guidance of the Thai Ministry of Culture and the China Association for the Promotion of Culture and Art Development, the South East Asia Education and Cultural Exchange Development Association (SAECEDA), Minjiang University School of Fine Arts, Chulalongkorn University, Thailand and other units jointly launchedLongitude and latitude symbiosis · Lancang Mekong art scene - International art exhibition and academic investigation for the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and ThailandThe grand event will be held in Bangkok, Thailand from November 28th to December 2nd, 2025.

The theme of this grand event is "Coexistence of Longitude and Longitude, Lancang Mekong Art Scene", symbolizing that Chinese and Thai cultures are intertwined like longitude and latitude, coexisting and prospering through exchange and mutual learning. During the event, a variety of academic activities will be held, including the opening ceremony, keynote speeches, roundtable discussions, international art exhibitions, the establishment of the Lancang Mekong Art Think Tank, and the establishment of the Asian Art Healing Research Institute.At that time, government officials, university leaders, renowned experts, scholars, and artists from both China and Thailand will be invited to gather together to conduct in-depth discussions on core issues such as the development trend of art in the Lancang Mekong region and the model of university co construction. Excellent works by artists from both China and Thailand will be showcased, fully showcasing their unique artistic charm and cultural charm.This event not only showcases the beautiful vision of China and Thailand working together to paint a new chapter in culture, but also injects new vitality into promoting regional cultural prosperity and common progress.
